Special Highlight: OCA in Cloud Expo Asia 2022

For us, Cloud Expo Asia 2022 was a successful event. We hoped for the best, but we were still surprised by the excellent result. There are a lot of visitors and most of them are the big shots from their respective industries. As the only CPaaS provider from Indonesia exhibiting at the event, we quite stole the attention there.

All of that won’t have happened without all the help we got. Therefore we would like to address special gratitude towards Telkom Indonesia and Leap for supporting us in this event. Also, thank you to our partners in Singapore who welcome and help us during the event, thank you to all the visitors to CEA 2022. Last but not least, thank you to Cloud Expo Asia 2022 for the chance to exhibit at their event.

Takeaways from CEA 2022

  • The global CPaaS market is competitive but so is OCA. After attending the event, we learned that OCA has a unique positioning in the global CPaaS market. We got a lot of positive interest from visitors, mainly because of our unique positioning and the fact that we are the only CPaaS provider from Indonesia that attend this event. We believe this is a sign that OCA’s penetration into the global market will go well in the future.
  • Exclusive information about international customer behavior & interest. Direct interaction with potential customers is the most valuable source of information for OCA. This data about customer behavior and interest is helpful when you want to target a new market.
  • Prepare your best booth! From the visitors’ responses, we learned that our booth’s color game is attractive among others. We realize even if you are a B2B company but being more “fun” will help a lot to attract visitors.
  • Be active! As an exhibitor, you can’t just wait for visitors to come to your booth. You might also want to come to other booths. You might learn something or even better you’ll get their business card.
  • Create some content. Make a recap content within 12 hours of the end of the event. Keep it fresh and timely.
  • Plan an after-event move! This one is important, you must make a quick move after the event. For example, you must contact all business cards that you get from the event. Giving them a special promo is also a great strategy.
